Streak: Rankle without a safety net

The same question as Rankle — on which criterion does this country rank best? — but one country at a time, four criteria, and the run ends on the first mistake.

The rules

  1. A country appears, with four criteria drawn from the game's 41.
  2. You pick the criterion where that country has the best world rank — closest to 1st place — of the four.
  3. Right answer: the run grows by one, and a new country arrives with four new criteria.
  4. Wrong answer: the game ends. Your score is the length of the run.

There is no grid to fill, no slot that closes, no optimal placement: every question stands alone, and there is one right answer per question.

The practical consequence: in Rankle the “best criterion” reflex is a trap; in Streak it is exactly the right answer. Both modes train the same knowledge — who leads on which criterion — but Rankle adds seeing the whole board, Streak adds reliability.

Tips for a long run

The daily Streak

Streak is part of the daily challenge: every day, the same sequence of countries and criteria for every player, a single attempt. It is the most honest version of the mode — no second chance, and a score directly comparable with friends.

Streak online

Streak is also one of the possible rounds in duels, ranked play and leagues. The length of the run is mapped onto the scale shared by every mode so it can be compared with other rounds.

Frequently asked

Is there a cap on the run?
No. The run goes on as long as the answers are right. It stops at the first mistake, and the score is the number of consecutive right answers.
Can there be two right answers?
Rarely. The right answer is the criterion where the country has the best rank of the four; if two criteria give exactly the same rank, both are accepted.
Does Streak replace Rankle?
No, both coexist. Rankle is the eight-country grid with an efficiency score; Streak is the run of questions with no safety net. Each has its entry in the menu and its place in the daily challenge.
